I went to a car dealership when I was 12 years old to buy like seven Lamborghinis.

The dealer treated me like I was 12 — which I was.

“You can’t afford these cars,” he told me. He insisted upon taking me through the whole financing process even though I had enough money in the bank to buy 10 Lamborghinis (but I was being conservative by only getting 7 — rule one of being wealthy is to never spend more than you have to). He even asked me to call my mom because he didn’t believe that someone who is 12 could afford their own Lamborghini.

“This is outrageous!” I exclaimed, kicking over his trash can and shaking my fists into the general air.

So I went to the dealership next door which also sold Lamborghinis for some reason.

When I showed the dealer my giant briefcase full of counterfeit money and my fake ID, he bowed graciously and let me have my pick of any Lamborghini on the lot. He even shined the taillights with his own peasant shirt.

The next day the first salesman was fired, the dealership was burned down, and also I now owned all of their Lamborghinis.

Because he didn’t know that I am Mr. Lamborghini.

You should never judge a book by its cover.

Sometimes that book is full of millions of dollars and it can buy all of your Lamborghinis.

Peasant.

Here are some of the biggest lessons being absurdly successful and wealthy have taught me:

It’s much harder than you think it will be.

I can’t post anything online without my inbox being flooded with women who want to date me. “You’re so beautiful and smart and perfect,” they say. “I know,” I say, blocking them.

The people at the local Subway have started recognizing me. Every time I’m there, 3 or 4 times a week, they remember my order. It must be my wealth and fame.

Sometimes I cry myself to sleep because I think to myself, “No one understands what it’s like to be this important.” Fortunately I can cry into my piles of cash to dull the pain.

It won’t always be easy. But even through the struggle, I think it’s worth it.

Not everyone will like you.

When you’re super successful and important, you’ll have to give up interacting with people who don’t share your mindset.

Sorry, son. But your entrepreneurial spirit just isn’t up to par. Maybe another parent at the daycare will take you in.

Some people won’t like you because you hustle too hard. Some won’t like you because you’re pretentious. Some won’t like you because you won’t stop using words like “hustle.”

Don’t stop hustling. As we successful people say:

It’s all about productivity.

I meditate every morning. And every night. And sometimes during really boring meetings and everyone’s like, Are you napping?

No. I’m maximizing my growth, as everyone should.

Don’t let anyone waste your time. Wake up at 3AM so you can scream at the sun. Check your email once every six months. Delete every app on your phone except a Pomodoro timer, then throw the whole thing in the f*cking ocean.
